Mt. St. Helens from outside the blast zone. Outside the blast zone? Holy crap, there are 5 foot diameter trees here that are torn from the ground, and other that were blown clear across the valley. This is miles, and miles, away from the actual crater. Kinda eerie, since it's almost 26 years ago, but feels like it just happened. Nothing has regrown except scrub. One of the most overwhelming sights of nature's ultimate power.
